The General Secretary of the AIADMK and the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Ms Jayalalithaa today announced V R Karthik Thondaiman as the party's candidate to contest the Pudukottai assembly bye election.

In a statement today, Ms Jayalalithaa announced that as decided by the Party's governing council, Pudukottai District MGR Youth Wing President and Pudukottai Municipal Chairman V R Karthik Thondaiman would be the AIADMK candidate for the by election to the Pudukottai assembly constituency.
