In a statement released today, Ms Jayalalithaa said that as per the AIADMK's rules and regulations that the party's organisational elections must be held once in five years, the party general secretary was elected. Following that the elections for the branch, ward and zonal functionaries were held after which the elections for the union, town, town panchayat and area party functionaries were held. Thereafter, the elections for the district party functionaries and the party general council members were concluded. All these elections were held in several stages and their results had been announced.  

The list of headquarters functionaries are announced by the party general secretary once in every five years.  

On that basis, Ms Jayalalithaa today released the list of AIADMK headquarters functionaries and said that they would also be in charge of the respective district allocated to them.

Accordingly, E Madusudhanan has been appointed the party presidium chairman and he will also be the in charge of north Chennai district.  

C Ponnaiyan has been named party organising secretary and he wil be the in charge of Salem rural east and Salem rural west districts.  

O Panneerselvam has been named the party treasurer and he will be in charge of Madurai rural, Theni and Dindigul districts.  

K A Sengottaiyan has been named the party headquarters secretary and he will be in charge of the Erode rural district and Nilgiris district.  

D Jayakumar has been appointed the Secretary of the All World MGR Manram. He will be in charge of Tiruchi city, Tiruchi rural, Perambalur and Pudhukottai districts.  

Visalakshi Nedunchezhian has been named party organising secretary. S Muthusamy has been named party organising secretary and he has been put in charge of the Erode city and Namakkal districts. EVK Sulochana Sampath has been named party organising secretary.  

M Thambidurai has been appointed the party's propaganda secretary and will be in charge of Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Karur districts.  

P H Pandian has been named the All World MGR Manram president.  

Pollachi V Jayaraman has been named the party election wing secretary and will hold charge of Tirruppur, Coimbatore city and Coimbatore rural districts.  

N Dhalavai Sundaram has been appointed the party organising secretary and he will be in charge of Kanyakumari district.  

S Semmalai has been appointed the party organising secretary and he will be in charge of Salem city, Cuddalore east and Cuddalore west districts.  

Durai Govindarajan has been appointed the party's farmers wing president. 

Cholan Sidha Palanisamy has been appointed the party's farmers wing secretary. He willbe incharge of sivagangai district. B Valarmathi has been named organising secretary and she will be in charge of the Vizhupuram north and Vizhupuram south districts.  

N Balaganga has been appointed the party's election wing joint secretary. He will be in charge of the Tiruvannamalai north and Tiruvannamali south districts.  

Nainar Nagendran has been named the J Jayalalithaa Peravai Secretary. He will be in charge of the Tirunelveli city district.  

S Karuppasamy has been appointed party organising secretary and he will be in charge of the Tirunelveli rural districts.  

R Chinnasamy has been named the Anna Thozir Sanga Peravai Secretary, while Adhi Rajaram has been named the party MGR youth wing secretary. Rajaram will be in charge of Tiruvallur, Vellore East and Vellore west districts.  

RB Udhayakumar has been appointed the party students wing secretary. He will be in charge of Madurai city and Virudhunagar districts.  

S Gokula Indira has been appointed the party women's wing secretary. 

Dr V Maitreyan has been named the party medical wing president  and he will also be in charge of south Chennai, Kanchipuram east and Kanchipuram west districts.  

Dr P Venugopal has been named the party medical wing secretary. A Justin Selvaraj has been appointed the party minorities welfare wing president.  

A Anwar Razza has been appointed the party minorities welfare wing secretary. He will also be in charge of the Ramanathapuram district.  

V S Sethuraman has been appointed the party advocates wing president while P H Manoj Pandian has been named the party advocates wing secretary.  

Pazha Karuppaiah has been appointed the party literary wing president while Vaigai Selvan has been named the party literary wing secretary. KK Kalaimani has been appointed the party fishermen wing secretary while Jeniffer Chandran has been named the party's fishermen wing joint secretary. She will also be in charge of Tuticorin district.  

R Kamalakannan has been appointed the party unorganised drivers wing secretary. Dr S Venkatesh has been appointed the secretary of the AIADMK youth camps for young men and girls. He will be in charge of the Thanjavur north, Thanjavur south, Nagapattinam and Tiruvaarur districts.  

Ms Jayalalithaa asked party cadres to extend complete cooperation to the new functionaries.
