" Tamil Nadu governor K Rosiah today praised the state government led by Ms Jayalalithaa saying the state was marching ahead under her dynamic leadership. He said the chief minister has crushed anti social elements with an iron fist and reestablished an atmosphere of peace and stability in Tamil Nadu to facilitate faster economic development. "

Addressing the state assembly, the Governor recalled that the chief miniser had organised a befitting celebration to commemorate the completion of 60 years of the Assembly. He asked the members of the house to start this year with a firm resolve to make Tamil Nadu Numero Uno State in all fields.
